| 02/12/2008 - Small pro shop but with nice selection of women's clothing.
Recovery from errant shots was not too bad, though trees and sand traps invariably were placed where errant shots were likely to go (for a right-hand slicer!).
The houses around the perimeter were a mix of old and new, but mostly obscured by mature landscaping. Rarely in play.
Most of the greens had puttable aprons.

Jacaranda Golf Club completed a major renovation project on their two courses over the summers of 2005 and 2006 including installation of new irrigation, cart paths, and Sea Dwarf Paspalum tees and fairways. Well known architect, Bobby Weed, was brought in to basically rebuild both original Mark Mahannah designs from the ground up. Completed in 2005, the East is now over 7200 yards from the tips and features interesting collection areas around the greens. Although long, the course also puts an emphasis on your short game. The club is located just west of Ft. Lauderdale in Plantation.
