| 11/10/2008 - A great course, truly of the best designed courses I have played in a long while. It's a pity the club house was under going renovations while we were there, which took off a little of the overall feel of playing such a great course. The holes are truly well designed, he has provided a number of great features such as combining water, bunkers and wooded areas together on many of the holes that make you think about the shots you need to play, not that you want to play, while providing spectacular views of the holes from each tee box. The 9th and 18th are great finishing holes using length, water and bunkers to put our games to the tesst. On a bad note, we found the course maintenance program to be poor, we were practising prior to teeing off, and the maintenance guys closed down all the practice facilities so they could mow! | 11/10/2008 - What a great course, Jack Nicklaus has done some fine things in desigining this course. It's challenging while also at the same time rewarding. manay of his holes bring into play, water and or bunkers on one side of the fairway, with wooded tree areas on the other a true combination that makes this a must play course. The Nicklaus Tournament Course is truly one of Nicklaus' best. This course is a remarkable test of golf where accuracy is rewarded and errant shots are severely penalized. Visible plateau landing areas, firm elevated greens and jagged bunkers will leave a lasting impression on golfers of every level. The PGA WEST Jack Nicklaus Tournament course is ranked among Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the United States.
