04/07/2008 - They call this course the 'burial ground for elephants on the greens'. It is so true. There is hardly a flat area on any green to put the hole. The #1 hole is a great first hole. The course was in good condition. There is only one set of tees for ladies at 5100 yards. A good course to play in Savannah. Posted by Lori (Atlantic Beach, FL)

When legendary golf architect Rees Jones decided to work his magic in the Georgia woodlands, the result was Southbridge Golf Club in Savannah, GA. Southbridge has long been the most acclaimed golf course in Savannah, due to Jones's strategic placement of water with a design set on a densely wooded tract of Georgia pines and oaks. Large undulating greens are protected by grass mounding and finely sculptured bunkers, providing a fair test and entertaining round for players of all skill levels.
