Designed by Ron Garl, this course has many characteristics of a Scottish links with wide-open, rolling fairways. Many areas of the course have un-mown roughs, sandy waste areas, and large pot bunkers. Despite having water on 12 holes, the course is fairly forgiving and won't beat you up too bad if you're not playing your best. However, when the wind gets up it can be tough to score. Summerfield is in Riverview, 30 minutes southeast of Tampa.
