Redesigned by Pete Dye in 1994, this terrific course has long been an island favorite. Cut through beautiful stands of magnolia and live oak trees, the grounds here are rich in Civil War history. In fact, you'll find historical markers on several holes describing the events that happened here so long ago. The course itself is typical (diabolical?) Dye with fairly generous landing zones, but tough approach shots to small, well-bunkered greens.
