AMELIA NATIONAL GOLF & COUNTRY CLUBFERNANDINA BEACH, FL The newest Tom Fazio Championship Golf Course in North Florida opened in February 2006. The private gated golf community boasts a layout that stretches over 7,100 yards from the back tees and features wide rolling fairways, dramatic bunkering, pristine wetlands and lakes, and undulating greens. The course offers five sets of tees and will challenge while maintaining playability for almost every level of golfer. The course maintains a low country feel with its many pines, oaks, magnolias, and sweet bays. The additional red buds, dogwoods, ligustrums, and azaleas offer that distinct southern flavor. The course routes around and through the 265 acres of pristine wetland habitat found on the property. Amelia National is immaculately maintained with attention to every detail, the course is sure to be a favorite for all who get to play it. |

04/28/2008 - The only issue that we had with this beautiful course is that it is not well marked. No GPS in the carts and there are not enough yardage markers on the course itself. A beautiful, well maintained course that will only get better as it ages. Paul Posted by Paul (Budd Lake, NJ)
