1998 Golden Bear Tour Stop

Opened since 1996, this is Florida's first course co-designed by the father and son team of Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus, Jr. Located in Palm City (south of Port St. Lucie, west of Stuart), the club hosted events on the Golden Bear Tour and is a grueling test from the championship tees. It offers rolling, perfectly maintained fairways, multi-tiered greens and tees, and holes that wind through natural pine forests and wetlands (water comes into play on 10 holes). It provides a truly unique round of golf and is an excellent value for golf in this area.

The Majors at Bayside Lakes is a fantastic Arnold Palmer Signature Course complete with a practice facility that was named in the "Top 10 in the World" by The Golfer Magazine. The course is reminiscent of Carolina layouts with large amounts of pine forests and sand spread out over 240 acres. A stunning 6000-square-foot Augusta style clubhouse overlooks this beautiful layout. The Majors was home to the 2003-2005 PGA Sunshine State Championship. The PGA of America and famed golf course architect Pete Dye are ecstatic about the unveiling of the newly renovated Dye Course on October 6, 2007. Golfers who have played here in the past will discover a bold new contrast to what they may remember as soon as they reach the first tee. Where golfers used to step off the pavement of a "residential atmosphere" onto the golf course, new landscaping "to the nines and then some" gives this opening hole a completely different ambiance and has created an open bowl effect that offers a panoramic vista of the 100-acre "Big Mamu" Wetland. With brand new Champion Ultra Dwarf greens surfaces, Paspalum tee grounds, extensive landscaping, new irrigation and coquina base along the cart paths to prevent blowing sand on windy days, and major bunker improvements including new sand in all greenside bunkers, the all new Dye Course will be revered by all golf aficionados.

With its rolling hills, majestic pine trees and challenging water hazards, The Ryder Course (North) has a distinctive Carolina feel. The layout borders a large wildlife sanctuary and offers rolling fairways, large-target greens, and a beautiful environment. In fact, Audobon International awarded its "Signature Status" environmental award in 1996. A magnificent clubhouse and exceptional service complete this superb golf experience. A classic Florida layout, Tom Fazio's Wanamaker Course (South), is set against a backdrop of wetlands, palm trees, and palmettos. The course is considered as one of Florida's most beautiful courses and is currently ranked #21 in the State by Golf Digest. In typical Fazio style, the premium is on the tee shot to set up a good approach to the well-guarded greens. Along with the Ryder (North) Course, this was the first 36-hole facility ever owned and operated by the PGA.
