The layout is set on a secluded penninsula, surrounded by the waters of Charleston Harbor. Rivertowne Country Club ~ 6.88 miles (Not Driving Distance)
The newest addition to the Charleston golf scene is RiverTowne Country Club, an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. Thirteen holes were built along the Wando River and Horlbeck Creek, giving the golfer spectacular views of the surrounding marshland. Tree-lined fairways feature generous landing areas, while strategically placed bunkers and lakes frame every hole. The greens are multi-tiered and fast, making the short game that much more important. The course opens November 1, 2001 for limited play.... more info.
Coosaw Creek Country Club ~ 16.1 miles (Not Driving Distance)
This course was designed by architect Arthur Hills with an emphasis placed on accuracy, rather than length, off the tee. Hills' classic design compliments the beauty of the site. Dense woods and wetlands border rolling fairways and undulating greens. Subtle mounding reflects the contours of the land, which rises and falls. Golf Magazine named Coosaw Creek a "Must Play" course in Charleston and Golf Digest recently awarded the course 3 1/2 stars... more info.
The Links At Stono Ferry ~ 17.44 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Take a journey into South Carolina Low Country with a round on this Ron Garl design. The front side is typical Garl with tight fairways through huge oaks and stately pines. On the back, he'll take you to the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway where you'll be provided with outstanding panoramic views. At just over 6600 yards from the tips, The Links at Stono Ferry will give you a chance to use every shot in your bag.... more info.
