Myrtlewood Golf Club - Pinehills ~ 0.26 miles (Not Driving Distance)
PineHills was designed in 1992 on the site of the Pines Course at Myrtlewood, which was the fourth 18-hole design built on the Grand Strand. Arthur Hills transformed this pioneering course into a contemporary design that immediately became a "must play" for resident and visiting golfers alike. As the centerpiece of an exclusive resort-residential community, Grande Dunes sets the standard for golf along the Carolina Coast. The Roger Rulewich design was nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Course in America" award for 2001 and continues to receive accolades as time goes on. Ranked by Golfweek as the 5th best public-access course in South Carolina, Tidewater sits on a high peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Truly set on a remarkable piece of land, the beautiful layout winds its way through woodlands, tidal creeks, and marshlands. It's amazing, but don't just take it from us. Farmstead Golf Links ~ 19.94 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Farmstead has gained recognition for its mammoth par-six 18th hole. Yes, you read that right, a par six! The tee box on the 767-yard hole is set in South Carolina, and the green is actually in North Carolina. Is it a gimmick? Not really. It's different, but it's a well-designed hole. The remaining 17 holes are also a delight to play. Originally designed by Willard Byrd, the club recently brought Dave Johnson in to make some enhancements to the layout. The results are impressive!
