D.A. WEIBRING'S GROUP TO REDESIGN TPC LAS COLINAS IN DALLAS
PGA TOUR veteran D.A. Weibring and his Dallas-area Golf Resources Group were recently named architects for a multi-million dollar redesign of the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas golf course, which plays host to the annual EDS Byron Nelson Championship, a PGA TOUR event. The TPC is slated to close May 10, just days after the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship and plans call for it to be completed in time to host the 2008 tournament. Guests of the Four Seasons will have a rare opportunity to play next door at Cottonwood Valley during the TPC redesign. Click here for package information to Four Seasons.
DISNEY'S EAGLE PINES TO CLOSE
We received a surprising announcement recently from our friends at Walt Disney World. The two courses at Bonnet Creek Golf Club, Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines, were recently purchased by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The upscale hotel chain will redevelop the Eagle Pines property into a high-end resort hotel. Osprey Ridge will become the "resort course" for guests of the Four Seasons. Both courses have been Golfpac favorites for years and Eagle Pines will definitely be missed by our traveling golfers.
