In case you haven't heard, there's a great new addition to the Central Florida golf scene. Open since late summer, Providence Golf & Country Club has been receiving rave reviews from locals and visitors alike. The par-72 Mike Dasher design is located on Highway 17/92; close to the resort facilities at ChampionsGate and Ginn Reunion Resort. The course is part of a beautiful new community and winds its way through the Florida landscape with creeks and lakes forming natural hazards throughout. BINKS FOREST BACK IN ACTION
We're happy to report one of favorite courses in the Palm Beaches, Binks Forest, is back in action after closing for financial reasons back in 2002. A new ownership team has committed the capital to get the course in great shape including rebuilt greens and tee boxes. In addition, they re-grassed the fairways with a rugged strain called Celebration Bermuda.
