The two trips outlined in this e-mail are as about as different as you can get. In Scotland, you'll play the best of links golf with rounds on such famous courses as Prestwick, Carnoustie, and the Old Course at St. Andrews. It's a self-drive tour with two hotel stops including four nights at the five-star Fairmont St. Andrews on Scotland's east coast and two nights at the charming Highgrove House on the west coast. These accommodations provide a wonderful contrast between a deluxe hotel property and a country manor home style of accommodation. Both are delightful in their own right.
In South Africa, you'll play six of the most scenic courses you'll find anywhere including the fabulous Links at Fancourt. Unlike the Scotland tour, this 11-night itinerary has a driver/guide for the entire stay. It's nice to have someone else do the driving as you'll get to see much of the country while changing hotels a total of six times. We've picked a wonderful selection of accommodations including a couple nights at the Tuningi Safari Lodge, which is located within the Madikwe Game Reserve.
