About Magnolia Plantation Golf Club (Lake Mary, FL)
This almost 7200-yard David Harman creation opened in 2000 with a slight redesign in 2005 by Tommy Fazio (Tom's nephew) . The visually stunning layout features 18 distinctly different holes, all carved out of the Wekiva River Basin. Surrounded by a variety of hardwood trees and native vegetation, the fairways are gently rolling and weave through an upscale real estate development, where water can be found on 15 holes (not all coming into play). The par 3's and 4's are extremely challenging while the par 5's give the player an opportunity for that illusive birdie and seldom-achieved eagle. Located in Lake Mary, an easy 15 minute drive north of Orlando. Check out those surcharges - talk about "great value" for Florida golf! Nice playing conditions - excellent price.

Ronald (Mount Prospect, IL) says:
Tough to give an accurate rating because this was our first course, basically right from the airport, and it was rainy and very overcast. We were the only two groups on the course in mid-afternoon. We didn't get to practice due to the rain, but the range looked basically average. Course had a good layout, with challenging holes and good greens...wet, but still around 9 on the stimp. Good course for 1st day. Will try again in the future...hopefully conditions will be dryer.

Marilyn (Cleveland, OH) says:
My sister and I did not like the course lay-out from the women's tees. Too tough to find a decent landing spot for our shots. We should have remembered that from having played it the previous year.
