Situated on 145 acres of private grounds, Kingston Plantation seems to be in a world all its own. The resort offers over 1300 rooms at three outstanding choices for accommodations including the newly renovated Hilton Oceanview, the always popular Embassy Suites, and Kingston Plantation Vacation Villas with one-, two- and three-bedroom units for you to choose from.
The promotional brochure claim Kingston Plantation to have "everything under the sun." We can't argue this statement. There's the 50,000-square-foot Sports & Health Club, the Caribbean Water Playground, the Splash pool com...

Grande Dunes Resort Course ~ 2.62 miles
As the centerpiece of an exclusive resort-residential community, Grande Dunes sets the standard for golf along the Carolina Coast. The Roger Rulewich design was nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Course in America" award for 2001 and continues to receive accolades as time goes on. The layout is over 7600 yards from the tips and is located on an elevated bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway with outstanding views to the Atlantic Ocean less than a mile away. All we can say is "wow!"...

Burning Ridge Golf Club ~ 10.53 miles
Named "2006 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year" by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association, Burning Ridge is one of six clubs managed by Classic Golf Group. Formerly known as Burning Ridge East (the West has been closed), this great layout is a test for all golfers with generous landing areas off the tee and well-protected greens. Gene Hamm's design provides an exciting risk-reward element to the game for aggressive players. Located in central Myrtle Beach, this course is accessible from all points along the Grand Strand....

Tidewater Golf Club ~ 11.31 miles
Ranked by Golfweek as the 5th best public-access course in South Carolina, Tidewater sits on a high peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Truly set on a remarkable piece of land, the beautiful layout winds its way through woodlands, tidal creeks, and marshlands. It's amazing, but don't just take it from us. Sports Illustrated described Tidewater as "Myrtle Beach's top course," while Golf Digest currently ranks the course 22nd among all the courses in the state. High praise indeed!...

Farmstead Golf Links ~ 14.43 miles
Farmstead has gained recognition for its mammoth par-six 18th hole. Yes, you read that right, a par six! The tee box on the 767-yard hole is set in South Carolina, and the green is actually in North Carolina. Is it a gimmick? Not really. It's different, but it's a well-designed hole. The remaining 17 holes are also a delight to play. Originally designed by Willard Byrd, the club recently brought Dave Johnson in to make some enhancements to the layout. The results are impressive! After your round, enjoy the course views from the clubhouse grille....

Black Bear Golf Club ~ 15.33 miles
The pros at Black Bear invite you to "take a walk on the wild side." The beautiful Tom Jackson parkland-style design was sculpted out of a dense land full of hardwoods and pines. There are no homes on the property, providing a pure golf experience without any outside distractions. With top notch course conditions, a popular grillroom, and great customer service, Black Bear is one of the most enjoyable courses in Myrtle Beach. Managed by Classic Golf Group, this terrific course is rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play."

Indian Wells Golf Club ~ 19.12 miles
Rated three stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this challenging Gene Hamm design has water on 15 of 18 holes. There are a number of daunting holes here; however, the course is known best for the 410-yard, par-4 ninth hole, which is part of the Grand Strand's original "Dream 18." Although water is always near, the course plays more open than you'd think with room for the occasional missed drive. Managed by Classic Golf Group, Indian Wells was named "2004 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year."...
