In 1854, Mexico sold the land parcel recognized as San Ignacio de la Canoa to the U.S., hence the name of this Arthur Hills' 18-hole championship course. Just a short drive south of Tucson, San Ignacio Golf Club is located at 3,000 feet above sea level in the heart of Green Valley. Offering spectacular views of the Santa Rita Mountains, this work of genius allows players to observe the challenges that every hole presents from each tee box. The signature hole at San Ignacio is the beautiful par five 13th, an unforgettable double dogleg featuring elevated tees and a pristine double lake bordering the left side.
