Ford's Colony - Blackheath ~ 3.58 miles
Dan Maples created the Blackheath from an existing nine of the former Gold Course and a complete new nine holes. The result is a truly intriguing and beautiful par-71, 6621-yard layout. It's one of those courses where upon completion of your round you can easily replay all 18 holes in your mind. Particularly memorable is the 356-yard 18th hole with water down the right, dense woods down the left, and an island green finish. The Blackheath was rated as "one of the best 12 places to play" by Washington Golf Monthly....

Ford's Colony - Marsh Hawk ~ 3.58 miles

This course was the famous White to Red before being changed to its exisitng name. The overall appearance of the course is thick woods on a rolling-to-hilly terrain. The front of this course is flat and watery and the back nine is a bit hillier. There is a variety of sand bunkers, ponds, etched into hardwood flowering trees....

Williamsburg National - Jamestown Course ~ 5.67 miles
Named as "one of the top 10 places to play in Virginia" and rated 3.5 stars by Golf Digest, Williamsburg National is a course that will fit into everyone's schedule. Located just minutes from most area hotels, the course was carved out of stately maples, cedars and oaks, capturing the flavor of the Virginia landscape. The front nine is relatively flat for the area, with the back nine, though shorter, made up of much more rolling terrain. Many of the greens on the back are either elevated or sitting down in swales making club selection a little more difficult....

Tradition Golf Club At Stonehouse ~ 10.94 miles
Steep hills, wide plateaus and abrupt ravines greet golfers at this Mike Stranz design. Dramatic bunkering and long carries are balanced by broad fairways and enormous greens. The natural surroundings might become distractive as you try to focus on the task at hand. See for yourself why Golf Digest ranks it #11 in Virginia, as well as "best new upscale public course in the nation" in 1996....

The Golf Club At Brickshire ~ 23.36 miles
Everybody loves Brickshire. You will too. The popularity of this Curtis Strange signature course is easily explained in two words; "player friendly." With inviting fairways, true-rolling greens, and dramatic elevation changes, Strange has created a unique experience by replicating some of his favorite holes from around the world. St. Andrews, Augusta National, Pinehurst #2 and Riviera are all represented here. You'll finish in style on the dramatic par-five 18th, which Washington Golf Monthly named as one of the best finishing holes in the Mid-Atlantic. Take it from us, Brickshire is ...
