About Sea Pines Resort - Harbour Town Golf Links

After a month-long closure for complete course renovation, the course is set to reopen in November 2025. David Love III, five-time RBC Heritage winner and his company Love Golf Design, served as the player consultant for the restoration. Originally designed by Dye with his wife Alice and the assistance of Jack Nicklaus—working on one of his first architectural projects—Harbour Town opened in 1969 and has hosted the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing ever since. The tournament has produced one of the game’s most impressive list of winners, from Arnold Palmer in the inaugural event to Nicklaus, Johnny Miller (twice), and Tom Watson (twice) in the early days to Greg Norman, Payne Stewart, Jordan Spieth, and Scottie Scheffler more recently. The restoration will ensure championship-level conditions for both PGA TOUR players and guests of The Sea Pines Resort while preserving classic shot values and design. The restoration thoughtfully considered Dye’s famous design but made improvements to agronomy and maintenance of the course, rebuilding all greens, bunkers and bulkheads. This distinguished golf course places a premium on finesse, imagination and shot-making, rather than strength, making it a perennial favorite among PGA TOUR players. Put your game to the ultimate test against a collection of par threes ranked among the world's finest and a par-4 18th hole considered one of the most feared in all of golf, particularly when the wind is blowing off Calibogue Sound.
